The Operations Lead is responsible for leading teams to support operations processes and employees associated with the manufacturing of Mo-99 to NorthStar’s customers while complying with procedures, instructions, and prescribed routines. All projects and duties will be completed in compliance with applicable regulatory agency, such as DOT, Wi DHS, OSHA, cGMP, and FDA. This role will support Isotope Processing Leadership to supervise, coach, and assist in the development of the Beloit NMR Isotope Processing team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrates an ability to lead in a fast-paced environment in regards to production goals, standards, mindsets and behaviors both on and off the production floor.
- Leads teams in performing various aspects of the Mo-99 radiopharmaceutical production process, including pre-production set-up, manufacturing processes, and post-production activities.
- Performs the accurate and timely review of records related to Mo-99 radiopharmaceutical production, including digital Batch Records, Forms, Log Books, etc, in accordance with cGMP, GDP, and procedures.
- Ensures the cleanliness and orderliness of the facility, equipment, and materials, NorthStar’s respective policies and procedures.
Bachelor or Technical Degree in science, technology, or engineering and one or more year of leadership experience within a cGMP manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience with Automation and CIP Systems desired. Experience working in a regulated (FDA) environment is preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude is required, a scientific background is preferred.
