Senior Regional Account Manager (Sales)
The Senior Regional Account Manager (SRAM) is responsible for sales activities related to FDA approved commercialized NorthStar Medical Radioisotopes product(s) within an assigned geography. The incumbent is responsible for promoting the RadioGenix® System, developing opportunities, growing and maintaining product utilization among targeted radiopharmacies and potentially other hospital based healthcare providers. This is a unique selling environment that requires sales professionals to effectively learn to navigate the various radiopharmacy segments. The incumbent will be held accountable for learning and maintaining a standard level of job knowledge related to their responsibilities and the product(s) they promote. The incumbent will represent NorthStar Medical Radioisotopes at venues such as medical trade shows, medical professional conferences, distributor meetings, internal company events, etc. The incumbent will represent the company in a professional manner at all times and comply with all legal and regulatory guidelines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned:
Implement sales strategies as assigned in designated geographic territory unless otherwise directed.
Develop productive, professional business relationships with all key radiopharmacy segments and medical institutions with all key prospective product users and purchasing influencers.
Leverage knowledge of influential networks and affiliations (i.e. Medical and Professional Societies) to realize business objectives and expand industry-wide awareness of NorthStar’s technology.
Assume responsibility for achieving defined product sales forecast.
Prospect for new business, present contract proposals, and build solid customer advocacy.
Understand and comply with all provider and institutional policies related to access and the introduction, education, evaluation, and usage of new pharmaceutical products (e.g.: formulary, vendor access).
Conduct all activities within defined expense budget, unless otherwise directed.
Communicate frequently with manager regarding progress, accomplishments, needs, and key observations related to the product, competitive products/approaches, and market dynamics.
Ensure that only approved and current sales materials and messages are used.
Be very familiar with and observe all policies and procedures, and ensure that any product adverse events are reported promptly and through the appropriate channels.
Learn, pass all assessments, and maintain a standard level of knowledge related to assigned job responsibilities including product knowledge.
Attend trade shows and association meetings as required.
Effectively communicate safety and quality issues raised by customers or staff in a timely manner.
Support NorthStar’s Quality System and Health & Safety Program by following policies and procedures.
Ability and willingness to travel overnight up to 50% of the time.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Health Science, or other related field and 10 or more years of proven successful pharmaceutical sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and industry experience. Experience in the field of nuclear medicine or nuclear pharmacy is desirable.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
