Position
The Metallurgical Technician performs duties to support manufacturing and packaging of Mo99 Products while complying with procedures, instructions, and prescribed routines. All duties will be completed in compliance with applicable regulatory agencies, such as DOT, WI DHS, OSHA, cGMP, and FDA.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Powdered metal, liquid chemical and compressed gas handling.
- Perform various aspects of target manufacturing, including pre-production set-up, manufacturing processes, post-production and development activities.
- Operate, maintain and calibrate process equipment and analytical instrumentation.
- Operate laboratory and commercial scale equipment, perform in process analysis.
- Document and record information following good documentation practices in accordance with NorthStar’s procedures.
Qualifications
Associates or Technical Degree in Metallurgy, Material Science, Chemistry, or Science, and 2 to 3 years of powder or chemical processing experience in cGMP production; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

NorthStar Medical Radioisotopes is headquartered in Beloit, Wis. This location is our primary manufacturing site and accommodates all of our corporate functions. Beloit has small city charm, with a lively and renovated downtown, yet is also close to cities such as Madison, Milwaukee, Chicago, and Rockford.
