Project Engineer

Position

The Project Engineer is responsible for the technical execution of an engineering project. This position will be responsible for ensuring that the technical aspects of the assigned projects are completed to the defined standards and requirements. This includes gathering, defining, and prioritizing equipment and system requirements related to the project and ensuring that those requirements align with the business requirements.

This person is also responsible for working with cross-functional teams including RA/QA, Engineering, and Operations. All projects and duties will be completed in compliance with the applicable cGMP, FDA, and all other regulatory agencies standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides technical support within engineering projects in order to execute to the defined schedule.
  • Define system/equipment requirements and ensure the design meets those requirements.
  • Drives issue resolution of the project in order to keep assigned projects on schedule
  • Assists Project Management with the creation and management of project development schedules including defining critical path tasks for the project.
  • Communicates project status, performance metrics, and risk mitigation plans, or business requirement changes to project team and management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical, Chemical, or similar field in Engineering and 1-3 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of Product Development Life Cycle ranging from product specification and concept development to product release preferred.
