Senior Manager/Director, Program Management

Position

The Director of Program Management is responsible for providing the leadership and vision necessary to the Program Management team, ensuring that the team is successful in supporting and driving projects based on business priorities. With responsibility for developing comprehensive program plans involving several large-scale projects. This position will also ensure that proper staffing, operational controls, administrative, and reporting procedures, safety methods, and quality systems are in place to effectively achieve goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and improve the Program Management organization to ensure best practices are incorporated into processes to provide fast-to-market solutions for innovative programs.
  • Develop improvements (tools and techniques) to the current development processes, focusing on simplicity while upholding quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead or support the development of product roadmaps and future growth programs by developing business plans, timelines, and program charters.
  • Hands-on leadership of projects as needed, including schedule development and execution, budget management, resource management, Core Team leadership, and reporting to higher levels of management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 10 or more years of progressive experience in project management within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Five or more years of managerial experience are required. PMP certification is preferred.

Location

NorthStar Medical Radioisotopes is headquartered in Beloit, Wis. This location is our primary manufacturing site and accommodates all of our corporate functions. Beloit has a small city charm, with a lively and renovated downtown, yet is also close to cities such as Madison, Milwaukee, Chicago, and Rockford.

Beloit is a part of the larger South Central Wisconsin/Northern Illinois region, which offers residents and visitors alike a unique blend of urban opportunities and rural, natural beauty.
